When I heard Clinton speaking at Nixon’s funeral, I thought it was a disgrace. It’s an example of what he’s like, I’m afraid.

I met him when he was governor of Arkansas in l980. He wanted to please the law-and-order crowd, and couldn’t be moved, though I was fighting extradition of James Dean Walker. “No more guts than a pissant,” said a Republican I knew.

Everywhere you look, with a few exceptions like the family leave bill, he’s given in totally to corporate interests. It’s too late for him to reverse.
