Person of the Day: Cpl. Pat Tillman

CPL. PAT TILLMAN. Yesterday a Pentagon investigation revealed that the military had lied for 5 weeks about Tillman’s death in 2004. After flaunting him as casualty of enemy fire (they now admit he was accidentally shot to death by his fellow rangers) the Army kept the facts a secret from his family and the nation.

We may start thinking of these days as America’s period of truth and reconciliation…or just the Time of the Big Shovels.
