Daniel C. Vock is a public policy reporter who specializes in state and local governments. He has worked as a staff writer for Governing magazine, Stateline, and the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. He led a reporting team at Governing that produced "Segregated in the Heartland," a series that explored the role local governments play in reinforcing racial segregation.
